nWave Studio is thrilled to announce that its new animated film, YUGLY, has been selected as the opening movie in the Annecy Presents Feature Films category at the Annecy International Animation Festival 2026 ✨
Even more exciting? This screening will also mark its World Premiere! 🎉We couldn’t imagine a more unique stage to launch the movie’s journey. The movie will be presented by the directors Jeremie Degruson, Yanis Belaid, and producer Matthieu Zeller at Annecy this June.
Meet YUGLY, the ugliest dog in the world, and, weirdly, the cutest... who dreams of doing the impossible competing in the prestigious ‘Best in Dog Show’. Defying every obstacle, he wants to prove that even the most unlikely deserves a chance, secretly hoping, he’ll find a forever family.
